Guest House la Doma

The “Mas Provençal” house is set in the middle of the vineyards of the Côte du Rhône estates in Venterol, a quaint village of 700 inhabitants in the Baronnies Provençales regional natural park.

Located in the Drôme department of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, just 5 km away from the center of Nyons, which is the black olive capital of the world, in a quiet and sunny area.

It is also renowned for its famous Côte du Rhône wines : we are just a few kilometers from grand crus such as Gigondas or Beaume de Venise, where you can visit the producer's cellars.

A stone's throw from Mont Ventoux, the famous step of the Tour de France Cycling Race, which culminates at 1910 meters and whose 25-kilometer ascent is very popular among experienced cyclists.

​

Nearby is also Vaison la Romaine, a town well known for its roman architecture including its famous ancient bridge. This highly touristy region also hosts fabulous Provencal farmer markets where you can buy pretty much every kind of food (and drinks !) from local producers.

Bigger cities nearby are Montélimar, Orange, Carpentras and Avignon.

In this house we truly love animals. If you love them too, you can meet Tao our Newfoundland dog and U2 our Maine Coon cat ! They are the kindests. But if you are afraid of animals, no worries, they both live in our private part of the house so they won’t bother you. Your pets are welcome !

We just ask that they get along with both humans and other animals.
